Skinning the game...possible?
By Cow Muffins 2 years agoHeyo, I was just wondering if anybody has found where the textures are/how to access them yet. I really want to figure out some way to get the stupid snow effects on the snow levels to go away, because they rape my FPS. So uh, yeah.
No, not yet I'm afraid. I'd love to see some modding on this game. :)

I'd like to get rid of the snow effects too, because it really is hard on my machine, but also I'd like to make some skins for this game :)
You guys do know there won't be any sdk? They said they don't want their game to be a 'buggy average game with mods' like bf2.
So? I'm not talking about gameplay mods or anything, I'm just talking about replacing an image file.
I want to find the sounds, but it looks like most of what we want is hidden or locked away somewhere.
I'm pretty sure the XM8 has the same firing sound as the SCAR from Crysis.
